Doodle 4 Google

Would you like a chance at seeing your artwork appear on Google’s webpage? If that isn’t enough, the grand prize is a $30,000 college scholarship for the winner.
Last Year's Winner

Doodle 4 Google is an annual, nationwide art contest that gives kids a shot at landing their artwork on the Google homepage.

This year’s theme is…“MY BEST DAY EVER”.  Any students in grades 1-5 who would like to participate, please ask Ms. Maneval for an official entry form or you can directly download and check out the rules from the Doodle for Google website at http://www.google.com/doodle4google/index.html

Submissions for Doodle 4 Google will be accepted by Google via mail or directly downloaded to Google through March 22.

This is the 6th year of the contest and participation keeps growing.  Last year Google saw 114,000 works of art from kids across the U.S. in comparison to 16,000 in its first year.   The U.S. winner will be announced May 22; his or her art will appear on the Google homepage on May 23; and the 50 state winners will have their art displayed from May 23 to July 17 at New York's American Museum of Natural History.
